The main idea originates from the fusion of the arcology concept by Paolo Soleri, with the more recent one developed by IIT of Pontedera’s mycrorobotics research, based on the concept of the bionic plant (plantoid). This system acts as a prosthetic bionic body of interaction between the synthetic human habitat and the surrounding environment. However it must not be considered as a new limit, but as a new permeable symbiont element which also arranges.

Taking into account new interconnectivity world maps – connectography – by Ph. Parag Khanna and collaborators, as well as the gathered data by the satellites, within everyone’s reach via internet, the system can generate new urban configurations, interconnected among them, while fitting current ones.

The project developed is about enclosing key points of interactive architecture on different scales. I considered the new interconnection between territories and the ability to engage sensory self-programming systems (5G machine learning) by means of algorithms elaborated from the Internet. I have rethink drones as 3D printers that use waste materials collected on the planetary surface (conglomerates with hitech resins, new alloys or graphene) to generate new structures depending on human needs. The energetically self-sufficient drone, as well as the building, would be covered by the “synthetic leaf” generated by the ph.Daniel Nocera and his collaborators in order to generate useful energy from solar radiation and, at the same time, produce oxygen. The built structures would use a Voronoi diagram and a classic reticulum to act as a support for the flora that will grow on this. A kind of prosthetic body that would allow the growth of new surfaces which nature could go along with. This technology would be able to counteract the environmental impact generated by — human pollution and provide a more — eco-friendly architectural methodology.

FUNCTIONING: The main module is tetrahedral, which will allow the drones to print piece by piece the parts constituting the body. Thus, it can be progressionally generated, demolished and recycled in order to allow a new life to the areas of upcoming interest based on — human gatherings. Every level of this structure will be used in public areas of social, commercial, dwelling and administration interest.

DRONES SYSTEM: The drones, once the structure is printed, will stick on it becoming part of the architecture itself. Prospectively, once reattached, they can be set up as a wind energy system of energy transmission. There will be three drone sizes, capable of self-generate and self-repair themselves: the smallest one —to perform a constructing role, a medium one for transporting goods, and the biggest one for human transportation. Drones will have the same proportions in its three variations (1:2 = 2:3), and a function gadget. This new course of action conceiving the synthetic human habitat in a analogous way to Nature, getting closer to biomimetics and bioenergetics in order to produce a combination that generates less environmental impact, also has the goal of recycling the matter excess and the regeneration of oxygen and renewable energy.
